Enrichment Activities

It is vitally important to us that our students have more to offer than just their A Levels when applying to university. Our enrichment programme ensures that all students develop new skills which promote their personal development and provide an opportunity for them to make friends outside of their lessons.

This begins as soon as students start with us in the Sixth Form when they participate in a series of team building activities. There is then a weekly timetabled enrichment session every Wednesday afternoon. Activities are regularly updated to reflect student demand, with the choice currently including: badminton, basketball, book club, chess, debating, dodgeball, Duke of Edinburgh, film making, football, fitness, French culture, global society, handball, netball, social issues, table tennis and yoga.

A range of extra-curricular clubs also take place every day after school. These include Cooking on a Budget, Creative Writing, Maths Challenge Club, Arts through the Ages, Problem Solving Society, Law Society and Debating. We currently have more than a dozen clubs running and will give you all the support you need to set up your own if you want to.
